December 2023 Releases

• Get Ecommerce payments via API - the /Get Payment endpoint, seamlessly fetch payments through the API. To use this, set "dateFrom" and "dateTo" parameters in YYYY-MM-DD format. The default record limit is 100 (max. 100). For pagination, specify an integer for the desired page. API Docs here.

• Improved transaction notifications - building on the existing payment email notifications, internal transfers and currency conversions are now also sent to notify the initiator when fully processed by Orbital.

March 2023 Releases

• Fiat beneficiary pre-approval - automated review and approval of newly added fiat beneficiaries within seconds, reducing delays in waiting for beneficiaries to be approved for payment initiation.

September 2022 Releases

• Payment approval rules - providing greater control over funds transfers to external beneficiaries with the introduction of functionality to create an approval rule and designate payment approvers. Usage guide here Transaction approval rules
• Account creation - easily create new accounts in any of the supported currencies. Created accounts are instantly available on the platform to receive deposits. This release also allows users to modify the name of any of their accounts. Usage guide here Account creation
• Payment notifications - receive notifications via email when a new outbound payment is fully processed by Orbital and is on its way to the beneficiary, and when new inbound payments are applied to your fiat or crypto accounts.
• Transfer confirmations - download a PDF transfer confirmation when viewing a payment's details on the portal.

August 2022 Releases

• Indicative rates for Exotic FX - view indicative rates for exotic foreign exchange pairs in the Exotic FX overview screen without needing to contact Orbital or creating an order.

July 2022 Releases

• USDT (TRC) Digital Asset Vaults and trading - Send, receive or hold USDT (TRC) using a Digital Asset Vault on the Orbital Platform. You may also trade USDT (TRC) into any of the other fiat currencies in which you have an account on the platform.

May 2022 Releases

• USDC (ERC) Digital Asset Vaults and trading - Send, receive or hold USDC (ERC) using a Digital Asset Vault on the Orbital Platform. You may also trade USDC (ERC) into any of the other currencies in which you have an account (both in fiat or crypto) on the platform.

Product Knowledge Base & supporting resources - Users can now select the '?' logo in the top right of their screen when logged into the platform to few a host of resources that can help them understand the products and services in detail, and better navigate the platform itself. Resources include technical specifications, FAQs, video tutorials, a change log and our product roadmap.

April 2022 Releases

• Account Statements - Users can now download account statements that display their transaction and balance history for each account. The Statements feature can be accessed by clicking on an account from the 'Accounts' page and then using the 'Statements' tab directly under their account details. The max date range a client can choose is 31 days, however there is no limit on the history - users can select any 31-day or less period going back to when the account was opened.
