The Orbital Merchant Payments API enables e-commerce merchants to accept payments in cryptocurrencies and stable coins. It also supports automated payouts in digital assets stable coins and cryptocurrencies across supported blockchains .

The Merchant Payments API is versatile and supports a wide range of use cases, such as:

  • Marketplace Payments: Pay sellers and service providers automatically.
  • Employer of Record (EOR) Payouts: Send payments to remote workers globally.
  • B2B Transactions: Handle payments with partners and suppliers using digital assets.
  • Custom Payment Solutions: Build platforms that require cryptocurrency transactions.

2. B2B Global Payments API

The Orbital B2B Global Payments API is designed for businesses that need to manage and automate financial operations using both traditional fiat currencies and stablecoins. This API provides control over your global payments, allowing businesses to automate transactions, access financial data, and manage accounts.

While the API offers extensive automation capabilities, businesses can also access and control their global payments through the Orbital Platform Interface.

The B2B Global Payments API supports:

  • Cross-Border Payments: Process international transactions using fiat and stablecoins.
  • Treasury Management: Monitor account balances, transaction history, and counterparty details.
  • Financial Reporting: Access transaction data for reporting and reconciliation.
  • Large-Scale Payments: Manage payments across multiple currencies and regions.

The initial release of the B2B Global Payments API focuses on reporting capabilities. Businesses can retrieve data about their accounts, counterparties, and transactions, providing complete visibility into their financial operations. Future updates will add features like:
