Sandbox Testing: Validate Payer for Onchain Deposit

Testing steps

1. Create a deposit request and set the externalid to include the marker for the behavior you want to test.
2. Note the payment ID generated for the request.
3. Use that payment ID to check the validation behavior.

Markers

Place the marker anywhere in the externalid. Letter case does not matter, and the hyphen before tr is optional. For example, order1042tr-mismatch and order-1042-tr-mismatch both select a mismatch.

• No marker, or tr-match
  Result: success, matched
• tr-mismatch
  Result: failed, PII verification failed, mismatched
• tr-unknown
  Result: failed, unknown wallet
• tr-unhosted
  Result: failed, unhosted wallet

If the ID contains more than one marker, the first match in this order wins: tr-unhosted, tr-unknown, tr-mismatch, tr-match.

Response details

• A match or mismatch includes vaspCode set to mock.
• An unknown wallet or unhosted wallet deposit omits vaspCode.
• For companies (personType is legalPerson), the matched or mismatched field is registeredName instead of fullName.
