Account creation

Clients are able to self-serve and create payments via the portal. This page addresses frequently asked questions relating to the account creation functionality on the platform.

How does a user create an account?Accounts can be created via the '+ New Account' button on the accounts overview screen, which can be navigated to by clicking Accounts from the left side navigation menu.
Which users roles are required to create or modify an account?Users with Super Admin, Admin and Creator roles are able to create or modify accounts.
Which account types can be created via the account creation functionality on the platform?Corporate Accounts and Digital Asset Vaults can be created the account creation functionality on the platform
Which inputs are required for the account creation process?The user is required to specify two basic inputs only: the desired account name and currency of the new account.
How long does it take to create an account?New accounts and their deposit details (e.g account number, IBAN, wallet address etc.) are generated within seconds. Once generated, the new account is immediately available to accept deposits.
Which properties of an account can be modified?It is possible to edit an account's name only.
How can an account's name be modified?When viewing a specific account's transactions, clicking the pen icon at the top of the screen, where the account's name is displayed, opens a simple pop up for changing the account's name. Once modified, the new account name is applied instantly to the account.
Do external counterparties need to be made aware of the account name?An account's name is an internal label, is not used for payment processing, and will not be sent to the beneficiary when making outbound payments. For deposits, the customer's registered name should always be provided to the payer, and not the account name.
