Webhook notification Trail

Merchants can now track webhook notification trails directly from their client portal eCommerce back office, enhancing their visibility into payment status changes. This feature is available to all merchants processing payments in eCommerce, without causing any disruptions.

Benefits include improved oversight of payment status changes in real-time and the ability for merchants to confirm they are receiving webhooks correctly. This functionality is compatible with all integration types, including rapid, invoice, HPP, RBLs deposits, and payouts.

There's no need for merchants to take any action as this feature is already enabled for all starting from 10th June 2024. For Orbital clients, it reduces the time required by Customer Support and Implementation teams to check payment notifications and strengthens merchants self-service capabilities, enhancing the payment status traceability.

The feature also addresses the common query "Where's my money?" by providing clear visibility into payment status within the client portal through webhook notifications.


To verify webhook notification trails:

  • Log in to https://www.getorbital.com/.
  • Navigate to the eCommerce section.
  • Select a payment transaction.
  • Scroll to the bottom until you encounter webhook notifications.
  • Enjoy checking all payment webhooks being populated correctly.
