Corporate accounts
Corporate accounts are payment accounts issued by Pay Perform Limited (as legal entity) for corporate entities held in major fiat currencies.
A Corporate Account is your central hub for managing both traditional and cryptocurrency funds within Orbital. Unlike eCommerce Accounts which handle customer-facing crypto transactions, Corporate Accounts let you hold, exchange, and move funds across multiple currencies—fiat and crypto—all under your company name on one platform.
Think of it as your business treasury account that bridges the gap between traditional banking and crypto operations.
What Corporate Accounts Are For
Corporate Accounts give you flexibility to manage your funds across currency types and move money where it needs to go.
- Holding multi-currency balances. Keep funds in the currencies you need—whether that's GBP for UK operations, USD for international settlements, or USDT for crypto payments. Everything lives in one place.
- Converting between currencies. Initiate conversions directly within your Corporate Account. Move between fiat currencies, between cryptocurrencies, or convert crypto to fiat and vice versa.
- Centralizing fund flows. Use your Corporate Account as the intermediary between different parts of the platform. Receive funds from PMIDs, convert as needed, then distribute to eCommerce Accounts or external destinations.
- Managing treasury operations. Consolidate your traditional and crypto treasury in one account rather than juggling separate systems for each.
Supported Currencies
Corporate Accounts support both fiat and cryptocurrency holdings.
- Fiat currencies: GBP, EUR, USD, and other supported traditional currencies
- Cryptocurrencies: USDT, USDC, ETH, BTC, and other supported digital assets
This dual support is what makes Corporate Accounts useful as a bridge between your crypto payment operations and traditional banking needs.
How Corporate Accounts Connect to Other Accounts
Your Corporate Account sits at the center of your Orbital fund flows, connecting to other account types across the platform.
- From PMIDs to Corporate Accounts. Transfer funds from your payment accounts (PMIDs) into your Corporate Account. These transfers complete instantly, making it easy to consolidate received payments.
- From Corporate Accounts to eCommerce Accounts. Fund your eCommerce Account for pay-outs by transferring from your Corporate Account. Note that transfers in this direction are subject to banking hours.
- Currency conversions. When you need to change currencies—say, converting received USDT to GBP—you initiate the conversion within your Corporate Account before moving funds onward.
Typical flow example:
- Receive crypto payment into your PMID
- Transfer instantly to your Corporate Account
- Convert crypto to fiat within the Corporate Account
- Transfer fiat to your bank or hold for future use
Transfer Timing
Transfer speeds depend on the direction of the transfer.
- PMID → Corporate Account: Instant
- Corporate Account → PMID/eCommerce: Subject to banking hours
Plan your fund movements accordingly, especially if you need to top up eCommerce Accounts for customer pay-outs.
Account Details
Corporate Accounts are issued by Pay Perform Gibraltar Ltd and are opened in your company's name. Your account statements reflect your business entity details and provide a clear record of all transactions.
Corporate Accounts are categorized separately from other Orbital account types like Crypto Commerce accounts or Digital Asset Vault accounts—each serves a different purpose in the platform.
