Restricted Jurisdictions for payments

Once Orbital's anti-money laundering & counter-terrorist financing (AML/CTF) and transaction monitoring (TM) tools have identified activities outside of the standard norms, our Compliance team may reach out to you to gain an understanding of what caused the abnormal activities, and/or may request further information on the parties involved in a particular transaction. Orbital's Compliance team may also carry out periodic reviews and/or sample checks on recent transactions to check and ensure that your transactional flows and counter-parties involved are all within the agreed/set parameters. It is important that responses to the Compliance team's inquiries are handled promptly and in full, in order to avoid any further delays with processing of the transactions and/or with limitations of the usage of your accounts.

Due to global Sanctions regimes and AML/CTF requirements, imposed and enforced by the major international authorities (e.g. UN, EU, US OFAC, UK OFSI etc.) and governing bodies of the jurisdictions where Orbital entities are regulated/licensed, payments involving any of the following countries cannot be processed on our platform. This jurisdictional restriction applies to all parties of the transaction, including the initial sender, the ultimate beneficiary and any financial institutions used in the payment chain.

This list is not static and can change from time to time, in line with further rules and guidelines issued by the above mentioned authorities and updates of Orbital's internal policies.
