Intermediary Bank Info
Some customers may experience problems when trying to send funds to their Orbital fiat account via cross border transfer.
The problem occurs when entering the Orbital IBAN in to another financial institution's online banking portal. That other online banking portal might try to incorrectly route the payment using Orbital's own non-connected Swift BIC code "PAEFGB21XXX" which it obtains from the beginning of the IBAN, instead of using our correspondent bank's BIC code CHASDEFXXXX (for EUR) or CHASUS33XXX (for USD).
In order to get the sending bank to route the payment correctly, you need to over-ride the automated settings in your online banking portal, and specify extra information to tell your bank how to route the payment to our correspondent.
