Blockchains are the networks on which transactions using specific crypto tokens are recorded.

Note: USDT transactions on Tron (TRC-20) can be sent or received and bridged to your USDT (ERC-20) Digital Asset Vault at cost (no charges by Orbital, though network fees may apply).

Processing / Cut-Off Times

Transactions involving only cryptocurrency can be processed 24/7/365. For transactions involving conversion to/from fiat currencies, cut-off times represent the end of processing for that day. Transactions submitted after these cut-off times will be processed at the start of the following business day.

*Transactions between Corporate Accounts on the Orbital platform of the same currency are processed 24/7/365.

**GBP payments can be processed 24/7/365 if less than £1,000,000 and the counter-party’s bank is a member of the UK’s Faster Payments network.

Transaction Limits

• Maximum Amount: No limit on the maximum amount that can be sent or exchanged from a Digital Asset Vault.
• Minimum Amount: No limit on the minimum amount. Note that transactions involving fiat settlement under US$25,000 equivalent may not receive immediate settlement but will be settled before the end of the business day on a best-effort basis.

Settlement Instructions

Settlement instructions provide your counter-party with the wallet address for sending funds. This will be your Digital Asset Vault’s dedicated wallet address.

This address can be found by clicking on your Digital Asset Vault on your Accounts page and navigating to the Account Details tab.

Trading Capabilities

Trading digital assets can occur between any two Digital Asset Vaults on the platform or from a Digital Asset Vault to a Corporate Account on the platform. Payments to/from a wallet address off the platform must be done in a single token.

Example: To make a payment from your USDT Digital Asset Vault to an external BTC wallet, first transfer funds from your USDT Digital Asset Vault to your BTC Digital Asset Vault on Orbital. After the funds are received in your BTC vault at Orbital, you can then send the funds to the external BTC wallet address.

Pricing is divided into four parts: account services, book transfers, money in (deposits), and money out (payments).
