Supported Payment Methods
Orbital supports two main payment method types to handle both incoming and outgoing fund flows:
1. Pay-ins
You use this to receive funds into your Orbital account. This includes multiple cryptocurrency deposit options, all using the asynchronous model but differing in how the wallet address or invoice is generated and shown to the payer. Pay-ins are commonly used for customer payments, partner settlements, and account top-ups. You can receive funds in either fiat or cryptocurrency, with optional automatic or manual conversion to your preferred settlement currency.
2. Payouts
You use this to send funds from your Orbital account to an external bank account or blockchain wallet. Payouts can be same-currency or involve currency conversion (for example, paying USD to USDT). They are often used for supplier settlements, refunds, affiliate commissions, or moving funds to your own external accounts.
Both payment methods are fully tracked in Orbital’s reporting tools, support compliance requirements such as the Travel Rule and integrate with your existing workflows via the Orbital API or client portal.
